It’s time for the Essence of the American West Art Show and Sale.  The show will featuring some of the finest western artists from across the country and will be held at the Golden Spike Event Center in Ogden Utah. The Essence of the American West Art Show and Sale takes place on  May 7th, 8th and 9th 2010 and will be held in conjunction with the National Cutting Horse Association Western National Championships.

Artwork will be available for purchase beginning Friday May 7th at 8:00 am for invited guests and at 9:00 am for the general public.

Featuring a juried art competition open to all participating artists. And a “Quick Draw” on Saturday beginning at 3:00 PM  with a live auction following the awards ceremony.

Fun for the whole family, with Children's Art Workshop, Musical Performances, and Door Prizes daily. Also a non denominational Cowboy Church on Sunday.

Benenfit show for the family of Briggs Hill
At the Golden Spike Event Center
in Ogden Utah

Where there are no strangers, just a lot of friends you haven't met yet.
Briggs Hill is a young boy who on November 11th, 2008, at the age of two was diagnosed with Medulloblastoma, a form of brain and spinal cancer. On the 12th of November 2008, he had a massive brain tumor removed. It was located just behind the brain stem and extended into the right lobe. After 32 days in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Primary Children's Medical Center in Salt Lake City, he began therapy treatments. He has had many rounds of intense chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant. Although it has been over a year since the surgery, he is still facing a tough road of ongoing treatment and rehabilitation.  The team of doctors that attend to Briggs are
some of the finest in the world. They are comprised of Neuro-Surgeons and Oncologists that specialize in Pediatric Brain Cancer. He is in good hands, but it doesn't come cheap. As you can imagine, this has been a very trying time for the family.
